The 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is officially in production as of late June, after it was announced last year and then saw development delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Ford is taking precautions while assembling the new Tahoe, as well as the 2021 Yukon, but there are already vehicles leaving the factory.
There’s a lot to be excited about with the new Chevy Tahoe, which will see quite a few changes for the 2021 model year. It’s getting bigger, for one, with more cargo space and legroom, making this already beloved family SUV even more practical for parents and comfortable for kids.
The 2021 Tahoe will come with three engine options, including a new Duramax turbodiesel that puts out 460 lb-ft of torque and lower horsepower, for outstanding hauling capability that saves you money on fuel. The Tahoe will also come with a new standard independent multilink rear suspension, letting the rear tires respond to road conditions independently of the front tires for a smoother ride.
The new Tahoe will offer a new 10-inch touchscreen along with smart technologies like available wireless charging. Chevy has also equipped the 2021 model with more safety technologies, including Automatic Emergency Braking and Rear Park Assist.
