Chevrolet has made some big changes to the Colorado for the 2021 model year. They are shaking things up with the base trim level, which has been cut altogether. It also gains a striking new design, more exterior colors and some additional gear.
By eliminating the base trim level, the Colorado now begins with the Work Truck. According to Chevy, these changes are the result of buyers preferring simplicity and the ability to customize their trucks to their needs and wants. Updated styling and new features do result in a $500 price increase, but according to Chevy spokesperson Chris Bonelli, the Colorado will remain very competitively priced in the mid-sized truck segment.
Even with a higher price point, the Colorado is still one of the more affordable trucks in the mid-sized segment. The current Work Truck starts at only $26,395, which is just one reason why it offers so much value.
The 2021 Chevy Colorado will sport a redesigned grille, an all-new tailgate and standard 17-inch wheels. It will also allow you to express your unique style with more options, including thee new exterior colors like Cherry Bomb Tintcoat, Dune Metallic, and Pow Zinga Metallic. It will also sport a revised layout, more prominent badging and skid plates. All of us at Quirk Chevrolet of Portland hope to see you here for a test drive when the exciting new 2021 Chevrolet Colorado hits dealerships later this year.
